Fairy Wings

(Winter 2018)

A friend of mine, who specializes in beauty and special effects makeup, approached me about collaborating for a technology and arts showcase. The goal was to create two characters: a kind fairy, and the evil goblin who cut off and stole her wings.

After we met to discuss the overall design for both characters, I designed these fairy wings (along with both costumes). Wings are constructed of insulated wire and tinted plastic.
